Ariana Hoshino is a Romanian-Japanese cinematographer based in Los Angeles whose work spans narrative, documentary, and music video projects. Her award-winning narrative projects have premiered at film festivals around the country, including the Nashville Film Festival, Dances with Films, and LALIFF. She is a 2023 alum of the AFI Cinematography Intensive for Women, a current member of the ASCF, and a contributor to the ASC Masterclass. Ariana is deeply committed to uplifting women, nonbinary, and queer voices in every stage of her creative process. Her work spans digital, 16mm, 35mm, and VHS formats and she owns Arriflex SR2 (Super16mm) and Sony FX9 camera packages, as well as smaller VHS, Super8, and stills cameras.
